We support students and families with essential services that make school days healthier, smoother, and more enriching—from free meals and academic support to transportation and community partnerships.
Before & After School Care
Families benefit from transportation partnerships that connect to nearby day care centers:
- Day care transportation partnerships with Train up a Child and Monroe Bus service to Double Sweet Daycare
Counseling
Students have access to counseling and mental health services through on-campus supports and partnerships with A Step Beyond and other local agencies.
Family Resources
We connect families with vital resources to strengthen support at home and school:
- School-based food pantry stocked through OHgo and community partners, with regular food distribution to families
- Annual Thanksgiving Dinner donation raffles
- Winter coat donations provided by Chick-fil-A and other community organizations
Food Services
Nutritious meals are served daily, with free breakfast and lunch available to all enrolled students.
Health & Dental
On-site health services help keep students thriving and ready to learn:
- Mobile Dentist visits twice a year
- Health Department provides vaccinations during back-to-school season
Tutoring & Summer Programs
We offer extra academic support to help students succeed year-round:
- In-school tutoring for Grades 3–8 in reading and math, January through Spring Break (Monday–Thursday, 3:00–4:30 PM)
- Summer camps offering literacy and STEM learning opportunities (June through mid-July)
Transportation
Safe, reliable transportation is provided through students’ district of residence. Eligible students living in Huron City, Margaretta Local, Perkins Local, or Sandusky City School Districts may apply for transportation services through their district offices.
