Covid-19 Updates

CHANGES IN COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Monroe Preparatory Academy is committed to the conviction that education is essential business and that all students should have the opportunity to be in school if possible.

In order to continue to provide in person instruction, we are placing emphasis on the things that we know work. We are encouraging visitors, staff, and students to wear masks and are urging people to consider vaccination. The Erie County Health Department has information about Covid-19 testing and vaccine availability at https://www.coviderieohio.com/covid-19-testing . In addition, the CDC has released new guidance regarding Covid-19 isolation and quarantine. The Erie County Health Department is implementing this guidance for all individuals that test Covid positive. More information regarding the new guidance can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s1227-isolation-quarantine-guidance.html .

To ensure that we continue to keep all students and staff healthy and safe, any student who is feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms of illness should remain home. Please utilize the school’s absence reporting form, https://monroeprep.org/report-absence/ or call the school office at (567) 998-7522 if your student will be remaining at home for any reason.
